Our first champion Deerhound, obtained her Junior Warrant and on the 24th October 1994, coincidentally Jean's birthday, - at 2years 4 months won her 3rd CC. The après show get-together and Jean's birthday party at our place was even more memorable and enjoyable!
* This was an unforgettable show, Honor went head to head with Miss Noble's Ch. Ardkinglas Xcel and was awarded Best of Breed and to gild the lily - our puppy, Gentom Innocent, won Best Puppy in Breed - what a day!

Honor was a dream to show, Open & Championship Show wins included; Best Puppy in Breed 5 times, Best of Breed 11 times one of which was Best of Breed at Crufts in 1998; 3 Reserve CC’s and 5 CC’s. She produced 2 litters of puppies the “J” and “L” ones and is Grandmother to the “M” litter and our current “O” litter puppies

Those who knew Honor will agree with us that she will be sorely missed; not a harmful bone in her body, a joy to live with, a lady to the end, bearing with fortitude her increasing inability to keep up with her kennel mates.

Her successors may well have difficulty in being as well loved or as well mannered or as distinguished and beautiful as Honor was in her prime. But we must not ask the impossible, they will do their best we are sure, and even their inevitable defects will help by comparison to keep Ch. Gentom Harvey’s Honor’s memory green. Farewell old girl, farewell.
